His platform is based on continuing the strong list of leaders who have been promoting and advancing our organization over these past few years by focusing on the two “I”s, Innovation and Inclusion. The IAFC has been blessed with tremendous leadership that has helped the organization meet the many challenges we have faced and Carl believes that his personal experiences in leadership positions with several fire service organizations, he is prepared to carry the torch and continue to move the IAFC forward.
Although we have had many successes, there are still many challenges the fire service is facing from funding, to respect and influence in Washington DC, to reducing Line of Duty Deaths, and Carl is ready to tackle these challenges with innovative and progressive ideas. His confidence in leading the IAFC comes from his volunteer fire chief background which makes you depend on the “Team” to get things accomplished and working to get more of our members involved and increase the potential opportunities for inclusion is major key to our future growth and success as an organization.
